Globo de Ouro 2023: “Os Fabelmans” e “Abbott Elementary” ganham destaque; veja os vencedores

A Associação da Imprensa Estrangeira de Hollywood (HFPA) entregou na última terça-feira (10), os troféus do Globo de Ouro 2023. A premiação consagrou obras como “Os Fabelmans”, novo longa de Steven Spielberg, e “Os Banshees de Inisherin”, produção mais recente de Martin McDonagh (Três Anúncios Para Um Crime).

Na grande noite, artistas de diversas séries e produções de TV também foram exaltados por suas performances.

"Os Fabelmans" e "Os banshees de Inisherin" foram destaque no início da temporada de premiações. O primeiro recebeu os prêmios: Melhor Filme de Drama e Melhor Direção para Spielberg; Já o outro Banshees foi bem-sucedido nas categorias de Melhor Filme de Comédia ou Musical, Melhor Roteiro (McDonagh) e Melhor Ator em Comédia ou Musical (Colin Farrell).

Por outro lado, concorrentes de grande peso como “Avatar: O Caminho da Água” e “Top Gun: Maverick” saíram sem estatuetas.

Nas categorias de TV, a comédia "Abbott Elementary" e a antologia "The White Lotus" roubaram a atenção do público. A primeira foi vencedora em três categorias: Melhor Série de Comédia, Melhor Atriz em Série de Comédia (Quinta Brunson) e Melhor Ator Coadjuvante (Tyler James Williams). A segunda temporada de “The White Lotus” levou prêmio de Melhor Minissérie ou Antologia e um prêmio de Melhor Atriz Coadjuvante para Jennifer Coolidge.

Amada pelo público, a série "Casa do Dragão" venceu o prêmio de Melhor Série Dramática.

A maior parte das 27 categorias foi recebida pelos vencedores, mas as atrizes Zendaya, Cate Blanchett, Amanda Seyfried e o ator Kevin Costner não estiveram no palco para agradecer seus respectivos prêmios.

A edição de 2023 foi uma tentativa de recuperação da relevância do evento, que no ano anterior não foi transmitido na TV e não contou com a presença de celebridades, após diversas críticas à entidade organizadora por falta de diversidade e transparência.
